The Upwind Tecnologias (Upwind) privacy notice covers the following publicly released products:
  • Upwind IoT mobile application for iOS and Android devices
  • The upwindtec.pt website
  • The Upwind online store
Upwind is committed to protecting your privacy and will not disclose any information provided to Upwind intentionally or unintentionally to any third-party. We are committed to not collecting or storing any private information unless absolutely necessary for servicing our customers such as processing your orders or providing you with technical support.

Upwind IoT Mobile Application

No personal data is collected or shared as part of this application. When authorised, the application can remotely access the user's devices using their IP address and device ID.
  • The device ID is a unique IDs assigned to each Upwind device and is not linked in any way to the device's owner. When remote control is enabled, the device ID and device password are stored on a remote server. This optional information can be deleted by sending a request to info@upwindtec.pt and providing the device ID to be deleted
  • The device's remote IP address is only stored within the user's mobile device. This address is deleted by uninstalling the application from the user's mobile device

The upwind website is hosted by Google Inc.'s Blogger and does not collect or store information other than what is collected by Google. The store abides by the Google's privacy and other policies as described in details under https://policies.google.com/

Upwind Online Store

The online store is currently not available. Information related to the store will be made available when store opens to the public.
